Then a shocking murder/dognapping occurs on the night of the bakery’s grand opening, and Bijou finds herself thrust into a tangled mystery. To solve it, she will have to summon her inner Viking—and fight tooth and claw for her new clan

Review

This book made me literally laugh out loud. Told from the perspective of Norse cat Bijou, this cosy mystery is filled with sass, humour and 4 legged friends and the sheer uniqueness of it all keeps you turning the page.

This book is not my usual kind of book but I’m so glad i picked it up. Despite the murder mystery i found it cute and light after a series of heavy reads. It was just what i needed. Bijou’s humour is right up my street and when she refers to the piglet as undercooked bacon I literally laughed out loud.

I really hope we get some more books about our friendly neighbourhood viking cat detective!!
